Long weekend

I shall update more since im having the mood today!
and ever since i bought the imac, im unable to use photoshop anymore because i no longer have the software to install. :(((( it use to be my everything when im using macbook. but it has become slow and laggy so i bought an imac and hardly use it anymore!! moral of story is, my pics are unedited unless i do them on my phone, when im very free. LOL.

Saturday, 3rd Aug

Went for JJ's gf birthday party. Twins told me what mafia theme, then she tell me she's gonna wear casual, i kept thinking then the theme doesnt match already? in the end there isnt really a theme. she just told me to wear white. -.- Okay, btw it was held at KRANJI, which is damn far for me. but since she say JJ is going to arrange the transport, so i just agreed. in the end due to the area being too ulu, the cab twins is suppose to come fetch me in is abit late because it hard to book a cab in that area. so i cab to meet her at AMK instead. the uncle kept talking to me non stop ask me where im going. Ugh. i absolutely hate it when cab drivers become chatty, i tried to plug in my earpc but he dont get it at all. fugs.

so she went there to collect the bday cake at pine garden and cab tgt to kranji resort. its damn far, i feel damn sick and giddy throughout the ride. x_x

helped out with wrapping the muffins then proceed to eat.

here's how the resort look like. not bad, but lots of mosquitos and the room is pretty small.

writing my wishes for the bday girl.

the couple with the cake.

and we took quite a few poloraids. the ex-mjrians.

chillin' in the room.

Her hair damn long here because....

im at the back lending her my hair as prop. HAHAHAH!!!! retarded pic of us, Angle & perspectives is everything. LOL.

she told me we have to tried the lala beehoon over there, and no where else sell it. and omg true enough it is a MUST TRY!!!!!! it doesnt look spicy but it is somewhat spicy, probably cause there's pepper in it. but its damn shiok!!! $18 for this big plate and we both manage to finish it!!!!!

this portion is 500g worth of lala, we wanted extra lala but the staffs say additional means 1kg portion. wtf. so forget it. we are both mega fans of lala!!

the bday girl's 2 tiered cake!! it is pretty but not a tasty cake IMHO. the fondant doesnt taste nice to me neither is the sponge cake inside. i feel its kinda dry, but twins love it and da bao some home.

there have this oldies karaoke going on and we suddenly have this mood of going teoheng. booked a last room there, but we had trouble getting out of kranji due to the ulu area. and coincidentally bump into suanyee there,  she offer to send us out so nice! but i was too paiseh, so we took the shutter bus at $3 each instead. LOL. in the end when we reached kranji mrt we have no mood for teoheng anymore so we both went home.

A usual working day, but it was the last working day of the week, so April and i decided to head out and have a nice dinner!

Before that we went to an art gallery nearby cause she wanna visit. After that we head to 49seats, i've been seeing their pictures of the tom yam pasta everywhere in instagram so i finally get to try after asking April to go w me!

attempting a selfie sitting opposite each other is HARD.

my soursop soda! Quite unique right!

interior looks really ''harry potter-ish'' to me!

Even the menu!

Taking a selfie with my phone while waiting for da food, lol.

She had smoked duck pasta! Totally forgot about the highly raved Fish & chips with tom yum sauce/ alscampi sauce!!! we both ordered pasta!! aaaaarrrg.

Mine is definitely the tom yum pasta! I Love it so much seriously! creamy and spicy! But would prefer it if we can choose linguine instead! the pastas are spaghetti by default.

Cheese fries with over dosage of cheese and mayo. this is a must order as well! but we couldnt finish!

fishes inside the tank which you cant really tell. Overall i love the place! would go back again to try the fish and chips nxt time!

this was the art gallery, lol.

Thursday, 8 Aug

my parents went for  Yutian concert at sentosa, so my sis and i decide to meet them at vivo after their concert end for some family outing. The moment we reach, we went into H&M and spend a long time inside, wtf. we came out with $178 poorer. no, i mean my father, not us. HAHAHA.

had crystal jade for dinner! A summary of what we ate.

hot and spicy soup with crab meat, kou shui ji, bamboo shoots, hot and sour noodles, spinach stir fry with salted egg and century egg, milk tea, snow ice and colourful xiao long baos!

IMO the kou shui ji, bamboo shoots and spinach are good! the hot and sour soup has too much vinegar in it. we prefer din tai fung. the snow ice is tasteless. the milk tea looks interesting with the flask and dry ice, but nothing special. LOL. this is marketing...

i only tried the truffle, foie gras, cheese, shrimp, kou shi ji flavour. cant remember already. surprisingly i like cheese the best! i thought that is going to be 1 of the weirdest flavour!

and i also bought the new Etude BB any cushion! honestly i thought the name is kinda wierd. LOL. And i was actually contemplating to buy it or not because its not sold in Korea, which means i cant buy it online at a cheaper price. it is sold globally except Korea, dont ask me why. plus its a new product so hard to find online as well. and i was thinking of whether i should try my luck to get the taemin scratch card for the Etude pink play party because my sis has collected 4 from her friend and her friend alr won the tickets. so she doesnt need them anymore. and so after considering for few mins, i eventuall bought it! comes with free extra sponge!

And many free samples. The person only gave me 1 scratch card and i remember that buying the Etude bb any cushion has an extra card, so i asked her and she quickly pick 1 of of the whole lot and gave me. i open my first one and its onew.

so i open the 2nd one and OMG, my pulse rate went up instantly because its taemin!!!!! ahhhahaah. seriously exhilirating with excitement and my sis is shocked also. cause her friend and many ppl are lack of the taemin card. so i quickly register when i went home, hopefull i can win!!!! *fingers crossed*

Anyway, here's the product, the compact case is rather bulky though.

and here's the sponge inside. similar to Laneige's BB cushion. i love the sponge, alot! the coverage is ok, and the BB cream inside is actually their Precious mineral bb cream series. i thought this was a rather innovative product as you can bring out bb cream for touch up instead of powder. because it would be abit weird to bring a whole tube or whole bottle of bb cream out to touch up righT?

and its refillable!!!!

Friday, 9 Aug

Day out with April again to ECP for some cycling! Although its kinda like a bad choice because it was too crowded to cycle properly and freely and abit sunny as well.

Stop by lagoon for some tasty wings!

while eating the helicopter flew by!!! Happy Birthday Singapore!

Dressed in red and white!

Here's an instavideo of her singing come and get it. hahahhaaha! at first she dont wanna start first because there's alot of ppl cycling past us, so she turn and smiled at my camera instead. LOL!

After that we went to Itacho Sushi for dinner! my first time there!

The salmon roll with lobster salad was good!

 Everyone loves this.

mini bowl of chashu udon which is just nice for me!

and her mini portion of cha soba.

Smoked duck and Smoked squid sushi, both not bad!

and my buy of the day! Love this ring at first sight!

Saturday, 10 Aug

Day out with Yee!

First up Big bang movie!! book tickets since the previous week cause seats are extremely limited! Not bad!!!! but few ppl brought their lighsticks in, lol. Top and GD smirking and smiling and winking infront of the camera seriously make me go gaga!!!!

After that we went over to Cathay to catch another movie, The Conjuring!
LOL, movie marathon. on a scale of 10 i would rate the scariness around 8!!!!!! Wtf, despite me covering my ears i actually jumped up a few times, i guess because they stated its true events. T_T

Anyhoots, our popcorn chicken with A WHOLE CUP OF CHEESE. LOL, maybe half a cup.

After the movie proceed to wisma to this forever queuing Koh Grill and sushi bar! everytime i walk pass them i always see long queue but it doesnt appeals to me so i dont bother to check out what food they sell. But yee told me the shiok maki is highly raved and we have to go try it! Queue for around 30mins i think.

Our shabu shabu with udon! DAMN NICE! the soup is extremely flavourful!!!! i was commenting to her that i prefer this than Sho Teppan, and she say cannot compare cause she like the dry one over there, then when we walk past Sho teppan we realized they just closed down!!!! Damn sad, but nvm, i still can eat this. LOL.

The egg for the shabu shabu.

And this is the SHIOK MAKI. they have 2 generations. the first one is Eel and this is the prawn one. im not a fan of eel. so anyway the verdict is one word: Shiok.

Im not very sure what is the yellow sauce. but basically its a mixture of smoked or fried prawn with salmon roe, sushi rice and raw salmon. I love how the flavour explodes in ma mouth!!! This plate cost us $17 which is slightly expensive, but definitely worth the try!

After that we walked past this new ice cream shop at ion. its dam interesting how they make a normal ice cream turn into something interesting that draws many attention.

Basically these flasks are the flavours of the ice cream.

she pour them into this i supposed is their customised mixer, and add in toppings and nitrogen and kept mixing till it became ice cream!!!

It was very interesting to look at!

& they have this whole science lab/ laboratory interior + uniform through out!

We bought this mega huge bb tea to share. its 1000cc aka 1 litre!

VERY BIG cant even hold it in 1 hand.

japanese milk and yoghurt drink.

trying clothes in H&M and realizing i look like a soccer referee. LOL.

Our only selfies of the day.

Sunday, 11 Aug

Day out with Fion and Samuel!

i haven been meeting both of them for more than 6 months! :X

Sam suggested Au Chocolat and i immediately agreed to it since i've been wanting to try! Been trying new food over the long weekend, gosh....#fatdieme.

First reaction when we were seated, why the table made of toilet mosaic tiles? LOL.

I was extremely looking forward to try the Duck Confit which was reccommended by online reviews but sadly upon ordering we were told it wasnt available. Fion ordered some chicken which is not available also. Their menu has quite a plenty of items to choose though.

So i decided to settle down with The Carnivore, which is under the all day breakfast. consist of scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrown, bacon and some toast. was really disappointed with it the moment i tasted it. Egg is tasteless, and in 2 whole lump. Bacon totally dried out and crispy to the fact that i cut it with my knife and it broke into pieces. I though bacons are suppose to be chewy. The hashbrowns are kinda cold and the sausage is just average. i didnt eat the bread at all and i couldnt finish the food. This cost $22.

Sam ordered some beef sandwich. i didnt try since i dont take beef. But he commented its not nice. He didnt finished it. not sure of the price.

Fion order some beef burger which has the recommended icon (mine also have). She also commented it was not nice. Again i didnt try cause its beef. But the black think u see above the cheese is a gigantic mushroom, and i tasted it. the mushroom is nice though. this is $25 i think.

This is the highly raved truffle fries, $15. The aroma of the truffle is very strong the moment it was being served. and its not bad! Comes with bbq sauce and mayonnaise sauce. But the serving of food was pretty slow (yes, we have been warned before we are seated) so we were full by the time our mains are served. perhaps that explains why we cant finish it? or perhaps too much of the truffle and it spoilt our tastebuds? They both ordered a soda each which was around $6 or $8, quite ex also.

some selfies with disappointed stomachs LOL, the group photo totally cmi, lol.

not sure what to do and head to Marina square for movie R.I.P.D, Totally sucked. waste time and money. fion and i fall asleep. LOL.

Ending the day with a dazed pic of Sam lol.

Tuesday, 13 Aug + other randoms

My hairrrrrrr. i just cut it today, and i kinda missed it, but i have no choice because the ends are somewhat tangled and dry already. :((((( its okay, Hair will grow!!!!!

Swiss's selfies. hhahaha.

Went to meet twins for movie That Girl In Pinafore! Had dinner at Kabe no Ana, located at NEX. we had almost everything with mentaiko! LOL

our mushroom soup as starters.

salad.

extra poached egg which i think it should be half boiled egg instead.

Our mains! The Hotate mentai mayo baked rice. Super duper shiok to the max. the baked rice was creamy and wet which i love it. sometimes people over cook and the layer under the cheese is somewhat dry and hard. but this is not!! and it was piping hot, we love it when our food scald our tongue, LOL #psycho

 requested for Extra Mentai Mayo!!!!!

Mentaiko pasta with bacons. yes this is nice as well!! But i personally would prefer it with more sauce!

our bill came up to $37+ which was surprisingly cheap to us. and before we left twins suddenly remembered they did not serve us our mentaiko toast wtf. so we turn back and tell the staff and she replied us with ''oh really.. so do u want it now?" WTF, in my mind was like DUH *roll eyes* the service is not very good but i do love the food!! Anyway the mentaiko toast is very yummy as well!

The Movie was not bad, but below my expectation though, i dont even know why i bother to take out tissue and wipe my tears, or i dont even know why i cry. LOL.

And i bought the Etude house (yes im a fan of Etude already!) ICE SHOT COOL BAND FREEZE FOAM. it looks like a super fun product to try out when i saw that they launched a new collection over there! Even have a tumblr in that collection! anyway i bought this online, it is not available in SG yet, i dont know when it will arrive. But SG already have the Bling in the Sea collection which is also a recent launch.

basically its somewhat like the snow spray that we always played with during christmas/ party? But this is extremely cooling! just spray on to your hand and form a huge patch then remove it and stick it anywhere on your body for the cooling sensation!

swiss again. hahaha that cutie pie.

went for hair treatment yesterday and my hair is extremely smooth. Best part is it's only $28!

Took a pic because im cutting it the next day. LOL. i will miss you my hair!! Y u spoil so easily! forever cannot pass this length and every morning i spend longer time than usual to  blow dry because its thick and heavy!

Am into floral lately!

Saw this cute corgi online, i just had to share it, hahaha!

Random cat chilling.

Ending the post with a quote of the day!
