2014 BKK Day #1

Finally gotten the mood to blog about my bangkok trip! LOL, took more than a month to get the 'mood'. HAHAH. But i guess i wont go into too much details! The trip we've been planning since may and it finally happened because its very difficult for us to apply leave since april and I are working together. Apparently our office shut down on the day we depart to bkk! LOL.

if im not wrong we took the flight around 10-11AM and reach BKK at around 1+ local time. April's luggage TO BKK is 15kg. MADNESS? LOL.. Her super bulky and Squarish luggage took so much weight. LOL.

mandatory passport shot, lol. i love my passport cover!

first time touching down at Don Mueang Airport instead of Suvarnabhumi Airport because we are flying via Air Asia. Don Mueang airport is more run down but much nearer to bangkok city! Im kinda shocked to see this in the cab. LOL, they did warn you the staff/drivers are not polite, so don't expect too much.

Cab to our hotel Citin Pratunam, cost around 300baht after the toll charge i think? And here, you see a common scenario which happen throughout all 4days of holiday. hahaha, we are so deprived of power socket! prepared loads of multi plug and even took some from my office to use! WOots, super useful!

Don't really recommend this hotel because we squeeze 3 person in a 2pax room. haha. the chair super obstruct the walking space cause they are bulky with arms. and the water flow of the shower head abit small, additional towel is charge based on per night 100baht, quite ex!! but we have no choice, we forgot that there are only 2 towels in the room. Also, we were given a room at 7 floor then suddenly we were asked to change to 8th floor or smth like that, and it took super long.. we just waited along the corridor. =.=

Freshen up and apply makeup and off we go! we are so so so hungry. by the time we settle down and leave hotel its around 4-5pm!

OTW to our lunch, which also is an early dinner.

first meal settled at Siam Paragon at a randomly chose restaurant bcuz we are too hungry but we didn't wanna eat dessert as mains(we go to paragon for AFTER YOU!). This thai style ramen? forgot the name. Super nice but very spicy!! i love the milk tea too!

very exciteddddddd i just wanna quickly finish my lunch cum dinner and quickly come here! LOL. Even the locals there queue for it as well. Fortunately the queue number jumped quite fast!

we had shibuya honey toast and the ferrero one in baby size because we wanted to try different ones and scared we cant finish!

After one bite... totally REGRET ordering the baby size!! Fucking shiok can. the toast super buttery omg. imo i love it more than the dazzling cafe in taiwan (but presentation wise dazzling wins hands down!) Dazzling cafe one is more of crispy toast, but this is soft and moist and butteryyyyy. *slurps.

This is nice but too sweet for me!

fat face says hi while waiting for cab to another place. lol.

went to platinum mall but already quite late, some shops have already started closing! Speed shop and slide through every lane in my slippers but couldn't get much stuff. LOL.

tried this recommended by ssa! Not bad! Thanks to her giving me many tips and screenshot the places for me so i can find them/ decide on where to eat!

Next to Central world since its just beside and April wanted to get Naraya. she went crazy inside. LOL.. i took the opportunity to pray outside the thai buddha, ssa ask me to get the eng paper but i cannot find it!!! :( I saw the local there holding a paper and read it while praying but i cant find eng one, so too bad. The wind was very big also i got difficulty keeping my candles lighted!

Super cute gloves i saw at Naraya! LOL.

And home sweet home after that!
Chatuchak for day #2!
