Etude House Rosy Tint Lips

Have always been a big fan of Etude house because evrything there is just so pinky, fun, sweet and girly!

Already have alot of their lippies before that! And the Jelly lips talk series was my favourite!

Nonetheless, their recent launch of the Rosy Tint lips caught my attention as well! I have already bought mine way before they launch it in singapore. unfortunately, the shipping takes a little too long! But anyways, i really love the product!!

I am truely in dilemma thinking which colour to choose from! At first i wanted to get no.7 but after googling for a bit, i decided with either 5. or 7. and i couldn't make up my mind, so i got both! The first and last shade is the editor's pick if im not wrong. But im not a fan of dark or red lippies, i am more of a coral/peachy/pinky person! Also, i must say that their colour system chart is not really accurate as i believed they apply many layers. for no. 5 i didnt want it at first because i thought it was kinda reddish, but when i googled for the swatch, it is somewhat pinky!

The very first thing i fall in love with, the packaging of course! Look at the pink roses all over the box! i can't bear to throw it away. LOL.

It comes in a tube with a very smooth spongey tip!

Squeeze to dispense the tint and apply on your lips!

Here's my swatch when applied on hand. i thought the tea rose looks abit brownish, but it looks super nice on my lips!

Here is my swatch on the lips. i only apply a thin layer. The first colour is more of a peachy tone, a shade that is pretty close to my original lip colour, and the second is more of a bright pink!

What i like about this product: I feel that it is something different from the normal lipstick/ lip tint/ lip gloss. First of all, lipstick is in a solid form, sometimes they are abit oily or too creamy. lip tint are normally in liquid form and lip gloss well, in a gel-like form and has a glossy texture. But for this, it is like a creamy texture, and it kinda feels like water colour to me! Like you squeeze out your favourite colour from the tube and onto your palette? So in this case, my lips is the palette! And i thought normal creamy base lippies are glossy? but i was wrong, it is totally matte! and i am loving the matte texture! it feels velvety when i rub my lips against each other. and because it is matte, it looks natural, like you are born with that lip colour..? something like that? even though we all know its lip tint lah, hahaha.

I use to prefer lip gloss because i thought lipsticks makes me look really mature. but now i prefer matte texture lipsticks/ lip tint because it's more natural, and best part your hair wont stick to your mouth when there's a big wind!

trying out the gradient feel. hahaha.

Here's a non edit of the swatches taken with quite a dim lighting, side by side.

Here's a few pic with the baby peony shade. The strong pink makes my skin looks fairer!

It stays on pretty much though it still stain your straw or cup or whatsoever. I simply love that matte velvety texture though it might be abit dry for some. Would reccommend to put on lip balm first before applying so you will have a smooth finish! Apply it in gradient or full lips, It's my current favourite liptint!
